Delegation from China-BD Tech Co. Ltd. Visits BME Department

On 17 September 2025, the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME), MIST, had the honor of hosting a delegation from China-BD Tech Co. Ltd. The visit was exceptionally productive, marked by dynamic engagement and promising avenues for collaboration.
The delegation began with a briefing session in the departmental conference room, during which faculty members presented current and ongoing research projects, departmental goals, and areas of technical strength. This allowed both sides to gain deeper mutual understanding and identify potential alignments for future cooperation.
Following the briefing, the guests toured key research facilities within the department, including the Biomaterials Lab, Image Processing Lab, and Biochemistry Lab. The delegation was given close-up demonstrations and insights into live research activities, instrumentation, and technical expertise.
The visit culminated in meaningful discussions on possible joint research initiatives, exchange programs, and collaborative development projects. This engagement has significantly strengthened institutional ties, inspired our faculty and students, and reinforced our commitment to innovation and international partnership.
